Foundation Board of Trustees

The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Trustees of community leaders that lend governance and direction to the Foundation. Our trustees have a diversity of professional, business, and academic backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and skills to the boardroom table. These ambassadors give freely of their time and their expertise to carry forward the work of the Hospital Foundation.

“Ongoing advocacy in Grande Prairie and the north for health services of any kind is important for the people and businesses alike in our region. Having access to quality health care facilities and health care professionals is essential in creating physically, and mentally well residents and workforce of our region. The impacts socially and economically are immense when there are delayed or unavailable services in our region. As a frequent user of health services not available in our area, I have directly seen the impacts to family and work life. “Grande Prairie is a centre point for most of the north and therefore our healthcare facilities are what provide services to most of these people. A significant number of individuals do not have the means or resources to get proper treatment in larger centres, so if we can’t provide the service here, they may go without.

I see the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation as a key role in assisting our community in closing that gap between what people need and what is currently available.
