Each year, the Father Daughter Ball is part of 2day FM’s mission of keeping kids close to home. This year the Ball is partnered with their annual Cares for Kids Radiothon to raising $45,000 to bring an Olympic Brainz Monitor to your hospitals. “We are a small but mighty team at 2day FM. We work really hard to make this night happen and to see it come to life is just fantastic. The joy, the fun, it is just magic,” says Caralee Parr of 2day FM, “and it is all for a good cause: helping kids in our hospital.”

This equipment is used to monitor brain function in babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), particularly for the presence of seizure activity. It will allow for neonatologists in Edmonton to see the monitor in real-time in order to help make treatment decisions in consultation with our local pediatricians.
